I had been avoiding a wasps nest and wasp problem at my front entrance and David happened to be by at a neighbours for their wasp problem. He had no problem helping me that night as well and followed up the next morning by phone call to make sure that the wasps were gone. Very kind, compassionate, and professional! I highly recommend!

Called Dave up on a Sunday afternoon to deal with 2 different wasp issues. Answered right away and came by that evening and took care of both concerns. Would definitely recommend him to anyone. Nice guy and very knowledgeable!

Last Sunday I discovered a large wasp's nest under my roof overhang and to me it looked like a job for a pro. After several internet searches I settled on Paramount Pest Control for several reasons. The owner answered the phone, was very professional and willing to give advice. After describing the size of the nest and giving a description of the inhabitants Dave Saunders told me to keep a safe distance from the nest as these were bald faced hornets, a very territorial and aggressive hornet. Being a Sunday I didn't expect a visit from Dave until Monday at the earliest, but to my surprise he promised to visit before dusk. When he arrived he assessed the situation, ensured no neighbours or pets were in the vicinity and then equipped with a spray tank blasted the nest. His intent was to kill the queen and soak the nest with his insecticide. After the nest was destroyed Dave stayed with me for a half hour or so to ensure the majority of hornets were destroyed. He advised staying away from the nest for 48 hours. Dave promised to check in with me monday morning, which he did, to make sure the hornets were gone. Dave's professionalism and interest in safety impressed me as something that only the owner of a small company . I would not hesitate to recommend Paramount Pest Control to anyone, especially anyone with a wasp or hornet problem.

After searching through multiple pest companies I was left thinking we would have to deal with the wasp issue ourselves until we found Paramount Pest Control, David put all our troubles at ease and assured us the issue would be dealt with. With wasps in a enclosed space, other companies said they wouldn't guarantee they could resolve the issue with just one visit and instead would take maybe 3-4 visit and even then there was no guarantee they would be gone. David on the other hand was positive he could resolve the issue in a single visit, he was extremely knowledgeable about wasps and their behaviour and explained what he was going to do and why. So happy we used Paramount Pest control and not another pest company that likely wouldn't have had anywhere near the knowledge he did. Hands down the best pest company in Ottawa, would highly recommend if you're having issues with bugs.

David was referred to us by Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control to solve an earwig problem in our house, and was pleasant and fantastic to work with.

David was initially only going to apply the pesticide outside the house, but after hearing that we had been dealing with earwigs even on the top floor, and the numbers we were seeing, he recommended spraying inside as well. He was able to spray within a few days of us contacting him, and was even able to come on the weekend. Before starting he explained the whole process in detail, and put our minds at ease regarding pet safety. True to what David told us, after applying the pesticide inside and outside (including the garage and shed), we've only seen a few live (but dying) earwigs. He also gave us a generous time frame guarantee, where he'd spray again if the problem inside the house returned.

We called Dave about an ant problem in our front and back yards. We had tried to solve the problem on our own but it wasn’t working. Dave is very experienced and it’s clear that he is passionate about this work and he goes the extra mile. He gave us a same day appointment even though it was the weekend and we had peace of mind knowing that this issue was quickly taken care of. He did a thorough inspection of the premises and identified the location of the main ant nest. His service is guaranteed for the whole summer. Dave took the time to answer all our questions and we would highly recommend him for pest issues.

David was amazing! He initially spent over an hour on the phone with us in the middle of the night, when I was only expecting to get a voice mail and leave a message. We had just bought a new house and when removing our dishwasher we found an infestation of maggots and fuzzy bugs. David quickly I’d’ our problem as being carpet beetles, (which we had never heard of), he as a few questions, laid out the options, and basically calmed us down. When he came over to spray our pests, he first did a through search of the house and he noticed that we also had a carpenter ant problem. He pointed out the problem areas, and sure enough, he led me down to the basement where he found the ant colony living between a double 2x8 beam. Despite the previous owners attempt to cover up all of these issues, David was able to quickly pin point the problem areas and resolved our problems. He even offered to check our attic and place rodenticide bait boxes. David also offered to write up a report on his findings, and his opinions on how the previous owner could in no way have not been aware of these issues prior to sale. David was amazing, he was extremely personable and genuine. 10/10
